Greetings kiwi Arborists,
l thought you might be interested to know that our American counter-parts have enjoyed a US$200 price reduction for the 020T Chainsaw from $650 to $459. After the exchange rate this equates to NZ$1111. or NZ$339 less than our current retail price of $1450. l,ve e-mailed Stihl Germany asking why we stihl pay so much and this was eventually passed on to Stihl NZ to answer.l since found out the above information and have asked stihl NZ why we do not enjoy this pricing structure. That was two weeks ago and l have stihl not heard.Perhaps some more of us could contact stihl NZ with this question. After all it could mean a price reduction for 'us' as well!!
l believe the Arboricultural industry in NZ is a great supporter of stihl products myself included. Rgds Chris Norman
