Alex Shigo is conducting a two-day tree autopsy and dissection lab next week (June 22-23) in Portsmouth, NH. The workshop is limited to 30 and still has about 10 spots open. The objective, as I understand it, is to study the causes of tree failure and disease while learning how to interpret a tree's history recorded in its log. It will be outside and involve dissecting and studying tree collected for the workshop. Anyone interested can get complete information from the organizers by contacting Northeast Shade Tree 603 436-4804 phone, 603 436-1493 fax. It should be a good workshop. I'm looking forward to it and hope to see some of you there.
