I have posted on other sites info on Ron Zillmer's meathod of planting trees.
Some people have asked for information on it. For lack of a better term I've dubbed it "The Milwaukee Method", agrees with it.

The best publication to date is the Minnesota Extension document on the topic that came out last year. Full color with lots of pictures although it does not cover planting diagrams. The best so far are still in the Milwaukee Training manual available from the City of Milwaukee Forestry Division 286-3595. It has no copy right so you can buy one and copy the planting section as I do all the time. It was paid for by the DNR with a grant that is why there is no copy restriction.
