Sounds to me like this guy is passing
his problems off, like there everybodys but his
own.I just took an oak down last week that had literaly
been spiked to death.If I didn't have a sober
climber besides my self I would not have any
other climbers!!! As far as work goes,I work as
much as I want all year round. However I am very interested in
seeing the spikes this man uses.It would be
interesting to see him spike a tree without
doing any damage,especially a 100' Beech.Or another
thin bark tree with the branch at 50-60'.
Maybe we can get a demonstration,Since he
dosen't appear to have plenty of work.
I guess he is the good tree man in the world
as it appears the of us either don't know what were doing
or we are overcharging with our cocky attitudes.

Very cocky and high priced

This was posted on ISA tree climbers and Mr Mc. got alot of flame mail.

The general consensu was that we over reacted and probibly alienated him even further.

I too am curiouse about the tree pikes he uses. My learning was as a USMC comm type, tree gaffs were longer there, to keep from sliding out of the bark.
