Hi Alice, from the description you gave of your tree and its condition, you would be well advised to hire the services of a competant Certified/Consulting Arborist. I am very concerned that you might be grossly under estimating the condition and structural integrity of the tree. If the tree is near a house or other high use area, it could be very urgent, James Causton (Consulting Arborist). |
