Recently, in a second-hand book fair, I found an original copy (circa. 1848) of Hoppus' Measurer.

In fantastic condition, bound and with an embossed cover, this book contains Hoppus formula and all the conversion tables for calculating the volume of timber. If anyone is interested in adding this rare find to their forestry library, I can be contacted either through this web page or at:
