The University of Minnesota Shade Tree Short Course is being held in Minneapolis on March 20 & 21. The title this year is
Trees, Plant Protectants and Politics.

This course is designed for everyone involved in urban forestry management and tree care. Practicing
professionals-whether with the private or public sector-, volunteers, and advocates need to become more aware of the
ethical, legal and social constraints and opportunities, as well as the technical aspects of caring for trees.
