Was interested in Ray Mack's question on why his maple tree was dropping leaves. The response from Dr. Appleby of the Univ. of Ill. states it is because of a cutfly. This is happening to our maple tree also. My question is, how long will this cutfly be active in a given year? Every day there is a layer of cut leaves on the ground. Anyone have an idea?
