reed, once upon a time you talked about trying to find out more information on an experimental product called elmguard out of the university of toronto. have you gotten anything?

anybody else?

It's mired-up in patent application process. The developer wants the riches, the school thinks it's their gold mine, and international trade relations (re: Geo. W.'s greed) make altered gene's proprietary knowledge subjected to the U.S. Patriot Act's interpretation of terrorism and the evils of Islam.
In other words, too many bucks at stake and the pharmaceutical industry (re: Ciba) doesn't want anyone touting a cheap non-toxic cure to something we'd otherwise spend big bucks trying to treat.
