Within one week, my Magnolia went from beautiful to almost dead. The leaves turned yellow, somewhat spotted and began to fall off from the top. Please advise!!

Lisa, in our area this is typical of excess moisture. We primarily have S. Magnolia. Is the tree newly planted, existing, site disturbance?
