Piedmont CA planted a number of 'Liberty' elms (purchased from the Elm Research Inst.). I've recently confirmed DED in several of these trees. Anyone have experienced with 'Liberty' developing DED? Any suggestions for managing the problem? Any experience with other DED-resistant elms? I guess I'm looking for an alternative to 'Liberty'....similar form but truly resistant. Thanks.
