I am curious about cottonwood borers and what I should do to treat them if anything at all. The tree is on the banks of lake LBJ here in central TX. It is large and in an area where removal is really not an option now. The shade is enjoyed and the tree has been pruned to attempt to overcome hazard problems associated with the weak species.
I am assuming they are cottonwood borers. Large boring beetles that are black and white. Any input would be appreciated. Nathan Wreyford |
