We have a newly planted Silver Linder (as part of a city project for beautification) it is approx. 10 ft. tall. The west side leaves began drying and shriveling. It has now moved to the east side. We have had quite a bit of rain since the tree was planted (2 months). Could the tree have too much water? If not, how can I find out what is making the leaves die? There is also a split in the bark. Perhaps from damage in transport or growth spurt? Thanks for any help, I don't want to lose my tree. (:
