My understanding is that the plantbug egg overwinters in the bark of twigs and branches.

Is dormant oil (2%) effective, I've found that they need a post budbreak foliar app to prevent aesthetic damage most of the times (Orthene @.66lbs/100gal). This rarely needs a follow-up past the 30 day residual (acephate has a 30-40 day halflife (?) in nutral pH water, the residual duration decreeses with alkilinity).

Has anyone had good results with oil for honeylocust plantbug?
