i have six cleveland pear trees, and one of the six is dying on me. i would say drought but the other five are doing ok. this one tree is now about 95% brown(leaves) and there are these spike type things all over the tree, they look like bark but they peel off and there is some sort of ooze that comes out of the spikes when they are squeezed. does anyone know what these things are and how i can keep my tree from dying?
