JP:The last 10 years I climbed
I used a stp in with a sliding D-Ring.I found it
very easy to get into and the sliding D made
it much more comfortable to turn and hang at some
of those immpossible angles you can get yourself
in.From my own personal use I would reccomend it.
Thanks,Bill C

John, For large trees or long time in the saddle I much prefer the step-through with sliding D after trying one for several years now. Used with a steel-core flipline hitched to one side D-ring.
But for small pruning jobs I change to double D-ring with butt-strap, and a Prussiked flip-line (still steel core.) Easier to get on & off, esp. with raingear on.
