Expandable to 16MB. Features an expansion slot called Springboard. Anticipated third party Springboard modules include audio player, audio recorder (mic is already built into unit), GPS receiver, digital camera.

Reviewers have found some disadvantages vs Pilot. Mostly OS is not in Flash memory and cannot be upgraded.
