A few years back, I worked from a bucket truck that had hydraulic links and tools. It had an extended chainsaw and a large mouthed side cut lopper. They were powerful. The problems I had with them were: 1) the hoses were often unwieldy and were grabbed by branches during maneuvering the bucket, and 2) the hydraulic fluid was a mess when trying to make the hose connections. Maybe other hydraulics are not so problematic.
