A buddy and I were talking to the Oregon rep about that at TCI (well ok I was just sticking my $.02 in) what he said was that most people take several chains out and bench sharpen them with a grinder because it is near imposible to field sharpen a square ground properly.. I find that a semi-skip round cut works fine for bucking big stuff if you use the file to hohe the teeth every once and a while. |

I foun the Oregon maint. and safety manual they were handing out at TCI, and on page 59-61 the have a pretty comprehensive guide to sharpening squareground cutteres. Blount, Inc.
