My ISP recently flashed an ad for ecost.com with a banner headline "Palm Pilots at cost." I took a look and they list PalmIIIx for something like $226. It's on thr shelf in Staples for something like considerably more I think. They list a wide array of hardware and software, maybe worth a look if you're shopping.

Worth asking... are they refurbished units? My first Palm had a screen problem- under warranty, they shipped a replacement, and the defective on one was returned. The 'new' unit was obviously refurbished. It worked fine, still in use over a year later. But as they say, "caveat emptor."
