Johnie? Last night I got an email on this subject from Don Blair and he suggested throw bags. Good call. I added Ness Rope Bags too. Cambium/rope savers will be on the list. Are you talking about those sawchains with a rope on either end? I have seen those for years in camping/gardening catalogs. I can't get too close to those things! Tom |

That is an adaption for arborists, not really a new invention. Kind of hard to pass judgement on what makes the list but I am trying to gather items that are radically different than what came before. The Hobbs block is a pulley, sure, but it was specifically engineered and designed to meet the needs of arborists. There are few other trades that put pulleys to the test that we do when we slam-dunk chunks out of trees. Tom |

Tom, This would probably fall under "Hobbs Lowering Device", but one of my favorite tools (designed for arborists) would have to be the porta-wrap.What do you think? Johnny |

The portawrap tools are a portable version of the Hobb's Lowering device. Tom |

Hey, Tom, don't forget the Ness TreeBoat for exhausted arborists in need of a nap before descending. Tom |
