Looking for assistance for the best possible method to determine tree valuation.

Our client has suffered a loss of 6 trees of 4 different kinds - Oak, Cherry, Elm and Crab Apple - I would be interested in any kind of a book or publication if such a thing exists that would be able to estimate the value of the loss based on size, height and location.

The International Society of Arboriculture publishes the Guide for Plant Appraisal, Ninth Edition, that deals with the valuation and appraisal of plants. I must caution, though that this is not a simple task, and requires training in both arboriculture and the plant appraisal techniques. I recommend that you contact a consulting arborist to discuss your situation, and to conduct the appraisal.
