First a thanks to you guys who have fed me cases requested privately. To All: I need case citations from any state, but preferably new england or the mid-atlantic states on successful use of the trunk formula for valuation of trees in landscape situations. Time is very short on this one as a judge has allowed the formula to go on record in court procedings but gave only a short time after arguments to justify the formula as a recognized means of valuation, and of course, only case law will count.

Any and all help will be appreciated. If you wish to post here to all, I will get it, if you wish to email privately that is fine as well.

Thanks all and thanks Russ for a forum in which such information can be found and knowledge gained.

Wayne

A Washington State case integrates discussion of the trunk formula method in some detail, in the case summary. Take a look, it may be what you're looking for.

I told Wayne about a South Dakota case I read which specifically admitted and recognized TFM. But I've lost the citation. Within about 12 years, I think. Have you come across it?

Wayne, some of us are anxiuosly waiting to hear from you about your trunk formula episode. I know it is too late, but I did find the South Dakota case that someone mentioned.
