OK want to read some really arcane discussions of value? This site publishes a number of papers. Most all are focused on the operations of national (and now global) economies with a particular focus on the relative merits of Marxist theories which were once discredited in the non-communist world.

Therefor few if any seem directly relevant to appraisal of single trees or even wider scale natural resources. There are a few I'll download and read. Maybe you can find something of interest or relevance.
