Looking for cases where trees and vegetaton are destroyed on land expropriated by governments. Also valuation procedures, are they the same?

As to valuation methods, they are basically the same. Start with the assignment- What is being asked of you? Who is/are the beneficiaries (of benefits from the trees)? What is the purpose of the valuation? Answering these questions will lead you to which method should be used, and how to best apply that or other methods.

Keep in mind that there is not always only one way to achieve your goals. More than one method may be appropriate.
