Hi, I planted a kwanzan cherry about 10 years ago. It's growing great, looks beautiful, but I have noticed that it is very off center lately - about 80 degrees. I may have planted it that way, but it seems worse as of late. It is about five feet from a retaining wall and the roots are above surface on the wall side and it is leaning away from the wall -- could the wall be constricting it? Is there anything I can do to fix it? Very big now -- would not be able to dig it up. It still looks great, but I am also wondering if the problem will get worse with time and it will topple over one day! Thanks so much, Maria in Brooklyn (a tree does grow in brooklyn, if crookedly)
