is it too late to prune apricot/peach/plum trees.
I live in So CA Also is it too late to prune evergreen pars and coral trees.

thanks for advice.

Ellen, there are many good books which deal with pruning the various fruit trees.
As for the timing of it, my understanding is that in climates with lower winter temperatures the dormant pruning is best from about mid-winter until just before the trees push buds in spring. That is to avoid possible cold damage.
After trees begin to bloom is considered to be a poor time, especially because of the activity and possible spread of disease organisms.
It might be worth your while to get local advice from your Agricultural Extension Office.
I imagine that your trees are blooming by now in So. Cal.
If you have missed the window to prune, you might want to be sure to thin fruit to keep the trees from bearing too much weight and small fruit.
