I have removed ivy from my house but it has stained the bricks. Does anyone know how to clean this off. The marks are basically the roots of the ivy still attached to the wall.

Try a powerwasher with a deck cleaner. It is a bleaching agent so you sould be careful. A hand pump tank sprayer may work also.
