I am a UK qualified arborist looking for arbor work in Australia. I have the relevant NPTC tickets and was under the impression that these were internationally recognised to some degree and that I could use them to get work in Australia, New Zealand and other places. Now that I am in Australia the employment agencies are telling me that I need Australian qualifications. Can anyone suggest where I can get more info on this? I don't want to have to pay $1500 getting my tickets all over again.
