I live in AZ and we had unusually hard freeze this year. My ficus nitada trees have one or two tiny green leaves at the very base of the trunk. Are they still alive or are they goners? It is the middle of April now, how long do I wait to see if they are dead or not?

You should see new growth of leaves in about 4 to 6 weeks.
Newt -------------------- When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. |
