I bought a Japanese maple late last year. It did fine and this spring showed a few buds, buds and a couple of leaves, but the leaves wilted and fell off. One new twin leaf sprout appeared after that, but this has also wilted and dropped. My soil is on the clay side, but other plants do well here. The maple has planty of slightly filtered light. I love this tree. It has a great shape. Should I leave it until next spring or just give it the last rites and dump it? | ||
