I planted a new Waterer Vossli Laburnum tree in early April and it is flourishing, but my question is: There are 3 main stems growing from the roots and I would like to cut 2 of them out and train the tree to have a single trunk and not grow as a bush.Do I just leave the one stem growing straightest and if so when should I prune and are there any dangers I should be aware of.
