Hello -
Just curious as to if anyone would know why my leaves are getting a brown spot on them and dying? I have seen some ants crawling on them but, I just could not imagine these little creatures killing three trees. Any info would be useful. Thanks, Jeff |

Hi Jeff,
Help us to help you please. What kind of trees are we talking about, where do you live, has there been lack of rain, are these newly planted trees? Ants don't kill trees. Different types of ants use trees for different purposes. Carpenter ants will eat rotting wood while others harvest honeydew (waste material) from aphids and scale. Which trees are you seeing ants in? Any sticky sap or black looking spots on the leaves? Newt -------------------- When weeding, the best way to make sure you are removing a weed and not a valuable plant is to pull on it. If it comes out of the ground easily, it is a valuable plant. |
