An interesting comment on valuation: "...the replacement value of the fixtures alone is $73,000, but that does not take into account their historical significance."

The significance for tree apprasiers is 1) valuation techniques should be broadly applicable to all types of property, 2) replacement cost techniques are not well suited to estimate historic value, 3) historic value may exist even though replacement cost techniques can't reflect it.... it would be additional.
