9th Edition Guide for Plant Appraisal was in final draft 12/98 with publication scheduled for 7/15/99.

Does anyone know when ISA will have it available for shipping?

Last I heard, release is planned for the ISA Conference in Stamford, August 1.

Spent the morning at ISA conference committee meeting with Jim Ingram and forgot to ask him availability date! He did confirm that he and Dr. Dick Harris will be introducing it at the conference in a 1/2 day tree academy session.

Does ISA tape any of these sessions? I suspect there would be a lot of interest in this one.

We tried that a few years back. Turned out to be too expensive, and too little interest in the tapes to make it worthwhile. I'm not sure if there is a policy of taping for personal use. AS a courtesy, the speaker should always be asked first.

Learned from ISA HQ yesterday that 9th is not ready for distribution and that a presentation specific handout is being prepared for the Tree Academy Workshop B to be held July 31 at the ISA Conference.
