In the battle for enhancing urban forests a growing arguement is saving trees for air quality mitigation. A tool I find useful is on the American
Forests website and is a climate calculator you can use to determine carbon levels and how many trees needed to offset.

Good tool to use in front of a city council, I use it in conjunction with City Green.
