Subject:[TT] Climate Calculator
Date:Mon, 22 Jan 2001 08:50:28 -0800 From Reply-To To:TREETOWN@LSV.UKY.EDU In the battle for enhancing urban forests a growing arguement is saving trees for air quality mitigation. A tool I find useful is on the American Forests website and is a climate calculator you can use to determine carbon levels and how many trees needed to offset. Good tool to use in front of a city council, I use it in conjunction with City Green. The URL is http://www.americanforests.org/clmt_chg/carbcalc.php3 David W.
