hi, my mother has a newport plum tree. The tree is growing crooked. She called a tree man to look at it. He wants 300-400 dollars to fix this tree it is about 3-4 yrs old. She doesn't mind paying to fix this tree, however this man told her the life span of this tree is only 10 yrs. Is this true. He wants to just dig it up. She would like to save the tree, but for the money if it will only live 5-6 more years. Is it worth it. If you could tell me the life span I would appreciate it. Thank You ! Connie
