Russ
You produced an interesting graphic on the "Progressive lean" thread. What is the drawing package you used, and is it idiot proof? Thanks Mike |

Mike, Good general advice from Russ. This graphic is related to that same "measuring lean" thread. It was done using the "draw" module within MS Word. The big advantage for me was that I could incorporate it into an MS Word report document directly with no conversion. Downside is it's somewhat limited in capability. It's better than the MS Paint application that seems to come bundled with Windows. It does not have as fine a "nudge rate" as my simple CAD program (you'll notice that some of the line intersections don't quite match) but I couldn't get the CAD and word processor to talk to each other! It aslso seemed like it took a while for this image to load onscreen. BTW thanks to Russ for installing the image on his site so I could respond to you. |

Scott tried to attach the image to his post. However, the file is a MSWord .doc file, and will not display here. It must be a GIF or JPG file to view in the forum. You can download the file (see the "Try thie link" message) for viewing with MSWord. |
