Russ, The Arboricultural Journal from the far side of the Atlantic has some really useful lit reviews of journals and magazines related to our profession. However, few of us get Arb Journal.
I was thinking, that we could do a similar deal on your site. For example, I receive the Journal of Forestry every month. Some months there is nothing of interest to us arborists. Other months, some good information is published that we, in our related field, can use. I could report such stuff, along with an internet address, each month.
Others could handle other publications- ArborAge, TCI, Phytopathological Journal, Forest Science, Arboricultural J., J. of Arb., etc.
All we would need is a few committed individuals. The more pubs the better. I would love to tell you all about the article "Coarse woody debris: humans and nature competing for trees". J. of Forestry, Jan. 1999, for example.

See the new section on Arboricultural Literature. Any time you come across an interesting article, please give is an abstract of it. What it's about, authors, and the reference data. If it is available on the net, post the URL.

One note: Please respect all copyrights. Do not copy verbatim, just give us the basic info and the reference, with full attributes. This section could be a sort of 'abstracts list'.
