I bought a new home lot. The person who bought the neighboring lot, hired a buldozer operator who was confused about the property line and pushed over about a dozen oak and elm trees on my lot. As far as legal action, how can I place a value on the damage that wss done.

Your best starting point is to contact the American Society of Consulting Arborists for a referral to a Registered Consulting Arborist in your area. ASCA's phone # is (301) 947-0483
