My neighborhood Assc.sent a letter telling me to trim my pecan tree away from the sidewalk. I didn’t want to trim till the pecans fell but they sent someone out anyway and trimmed the tree. Now I will have to pay what ever bill they send me. But half of the branches were in my neighbor’s yard next door, which happens to be a different neighborhood. Seems like they had no right to cut any tree limbs that were not in our subdivision. Can they make me pay for the section of the tree that was not in the subdivision or on my property? I would think they have no authority to cut limbs that are not in our subdivision.
