A temporary (6 month) full time vacancy exists for an Arboricuultural Officer at Shropshire County Council, Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, England.We are looking for a qualified arborist to carry out Highway tree survey work, developing a pilot survey to assess condition, risk and conservation value.
Excellent IT (especially GIS and Access)and communication skills are essential, you must provide a car for business use and some knowledge of ecology is desirable.
