The City of Cheyenne, Wyoming is currently seeking to fill tthe city arborist and assistant city arborist positions. The city is the home of the state capital of Wyoming. The city is progrssive about city trees and has an active community forestry program. The positions will remain open until filled. The city is seeking experienced candidates to manage the city community forestry program. Pay ranges is from $16,080 to $31,848 per year. Duties include supervision of city Forestry Equipment Operators,prepares annual plans and budgets based upon the direction of the city council, inspects and makes recomendations for maintenance work for city trees, fields requests for service including complaints from city residents, and works with the city parks department to develop and manage park trees.
