EQUIPMENT OPERATOR #11207

The Natural Resources Division, Montgomery County Parks of The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission is seeking an Equipment Operator. Responsibilities include operating medium-heavy equipment in the operations of turf development and tree digging, installing wildflower meadows, waters and prunes trees and shrubs. Also performs manual labor in various related landscape work.
Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to read and write routine materials and perform basic arithmetic computation, and one course in medium-heavy equipment operation, or one year of experience in operating medium-heavy equipment, or an equivalent combination of one-year education and experience. Must possess Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements at the time of employment. Registered pesticide applicators license within six months of employment.
The Commission offers excellent benefits and competitive salaries. Salary range: $27,643 - $35,899 (Top of Grade $44,157).
