Currently the City of Savannah, Georgia has a position open in our urban forest program for a Tree Maintenance Supervisor. Qualifications required: B.S. Forestry and three years experience (one year supervisory), or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Starting pay = $30,579 plus OT. Open until filled with qualified applicant.

I was wondering if the position is still open and available. I hold a B.S. of Forestry from NCSU and I am a Certified Arborist through the ISA. I have over ten years experience in the utility line clearance operations in all types of environments. You name it, I have been involved in arborist work from the lowlands of eastern N.C. to the urban environment of the suburbs of Washington D.C.
