I am working in New Jersey, at present. I suggest working for the larger companies that can provide training, health and safety, benefits, etc. I have worked for a small company that ripped me off. Try Bartlett Tree Experts, Sava Tree, Davy Tree Company, these are all over the States, try to get a state that is relativly cheep to live in, and check out the prices of apartments before you come over to see if you can afford them. find out as much as possible before you come over, it is relativly easy to get over, but the British qualifications only count for experience. Bartlett are now in the UK, contact them for any advice or openings in the states, check the web site out...good luck, ps it is fantastic over here, lots of fun to be had, a totally different lifestyle. get an international driving license before you come over, (this is really important) |
