Although there is a freeze on hiring at the University
of Florida's Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences,
some faculty positions were approved before hand.

State Level Faculty (two positions)
Assistant/Associate Professor of Forestry

Today in History: On July 19, 1848, the First Woman's
Rights Convention began in Seneca Falls, New York. The
idea of holding a women's rights meeting had originated
eight years earlier in London, England when Elizabeth Cady
Stanton, Lucretia Mott and other women delegates were
barred from participating in the 1840 World Antislavery
Convention.
