The Parks Officer (Trees) is responsible for the management of Council's Street, Park and Reserve trees. This includes the preparation of asset management plans, contract supervision, maintaining good customer relations, and input into the Resource Consent process where this involves trees or a horticultural input and the District Plan in relation to trees. We require someone with significant arboricultural experience backed up by relevant arboricultural/horticultural qualifications. You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
